Cheap Hotels in Glasgow – Scottish Hospitality at Its Finest

There is something about Scotland that always gets to my heart, and, before I know it, making vacation plans means looking for cheap hotels in Glasgow. I like my vacations long and wild, so I try to spend as little as possible on accommodation and transport, to make sure I can afford everything there is to see and buy.

Before my first vacation in Glasgow, I started studying the city maps and reading hotels reviews. I came up with quite a few names and very affordable prices, but for some unexplainable reason, two of the names on my list were simply irresistible.

At first, it was all about the prices. Then, little by little, I got to discover what the hotel had in store for its guests. The theory looked good, and practice pretty much agreed.

The modern architecture and interior design were a mere introduction to the clean and welcoming room, not to mention that I could make my own coffee. It came as a delight after the morning shower, with the hairdryer in one hand and the cup in the other.

There was no need to turn the air conditioning on, but the Wi-Fi connection proved extremely useful on rainy day, just enough to stir my appetite and get me down in the restaurant. Whoever said love goes through the stomach was right, because I’ll never forget the maddening flavors I ate there.

From the room service to the free parking, the Campanile hotel is loveable. I left with a smile on my face, the intention to return and enough money to extend my vacation.

It has an imposing Victorian architecture that I can still see with my mind’s eye and an impressive mix of modern and old that really impressed me.

The room had Internet connection, a flat screen TV, a hairdryer, and even an ironing board. I slept like a baby due to the comfortable bed. The room satisfied and exceeded all my expectations, while the staff was a delight to deal with.

Another thing I found impressive about both the Campanile and Alexander Thomson hotels was the presence of facilities for wheelchairs.

The two hotels’ positioning is very good, allowing easy access to almost all of Glasgow’s attractions and thus appealing to urban tourism lovers.

Due to the excellent accommodation conditions, the incredibly affordable prices and the welcoming and prompt services, my stay in Glasgow was a delight I like to enjoy over and over again each time I have a chance.

After several not so pleasant experiences, I now always go back to my favorite two cheap hotels in Glasgow, and I love being called the ‘house guest’.
