Hotels in Weymouth – Handy Ingredients for a Perfect Vacation

I don’t know about you, but Weymouth has definitely turned into our favorite vacation destination, and not because of the numerous landmarks, impressive history and overwhelming cultural background, but because the hotels in Weymouth are a real delight.

Our marriage was not exactly perfect when we left home, and we knew this was our last chance to make things better, so we kept our fingers crossed all the way. If you are expecting to find details of the places we visited, forget it. We barely left the hotel, because that is how beautiful and comfortable it was, and we came back the second time, to stay in a just as beautiful and welcoming guest house.

Hotels in WeymouthThe Cunard Guest House – Yes, that is where we first stayed. After hours of looking for accommodation online, we decided it would be the best comfort/price combination and we made a reservation for three days, that later turned into a whole week.

The people running it are very nice and friendly and made us feel like home the minute we got there. It is worth mentioning that the guest house is just off the main road and minutes away from the beach and coastline. The place is a treasure in terms of cleanliness and interior design, with large bright rooms and a lot of beautiful flowers scenting the air.

Although my husband is not really the romantic type, we found the place to be very intimate and inspiring and we spent some unforgettable nights there. The hosts were so nice that they even helped me organize a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach, and that is how I managed to convince my husband to stay for the rest of the week.

The truth is that the Cunard Guest House is one of the best hotels in Weymouth, and you are sure to have a great stay there, no matter what the purpose of your visit is.

Although our marriage problems were over and things were great between my husband and I, we noticed a small difference between the two accommodation facilities: while the Cunard Guest House was like a romantic getaway, a trip back in time, at Lacey’s, the atmosphere kept everyone anchored to reality, but not in a bad way.

The rooms had all the modern facilities one could wish for, from TV and DVD to tea and coffee, hair drier, safe and internet connection, which proved really useful when my husband got a call from work and had to operate a couple of transactions immediately.

We met people from various parts of the world, all interesting and friendly, and we enjoyed every detail to the full, from the comfortable rooms to the tasty food and the beautiful surroundings.

Whatever the purpose of your visit here, I have a feeling you will not be able to find better hotels in Weymouth, more welcoming hosts, or better prices.
